Default BFH mod and my new wheels

Got my new wheels, 18x9.5 fronts with 275/35-18s, and 18x10.5 rears with 305/35-18s. I was hoping that going with the 305's vs. the 315's would keep them from rubbing in the rear with my 1" drop, but it didn't. When I read about the BFH mod here, I couldn't find any pictures to help me verify my own findings. So I just kinda banged away at everything I thought might get in the way. After I did the driver's side, I decided to take a couple of pictures of the area that was rubbing on the passenger side. Also took some pictures of the final result. Needless to say, I'm very happy. So what do ya think?

Thanks! I have the Hotchkis springs with a 1" drop. The car's been put away for a few years now, and I finally decided to start modding again.

I have the same size wheels, tires, and springs (which are on SA Konis) Is one side of your rear lower than the other?

The passenger side rear may be just a hair lower. Never actually measured it. I think that's just from all the launches over the years. I've also got the Hotchkis LCAs, and panhard bar. Don't think that should make a difference, though.

Yeah. I think the 18s are perfect. I considered some 19s but was worried that the wider tires in the rear would be rubbing like crazy. I know a lot of people have done it, though. Main reason I wanted the larger diameter wheels is because I'm hoping to get a big brake kit next.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. Don't know if I wanna go all black, black with red "CAMARO", or just leave it red and paint the "CAMARO" black. Decisions, decisions.
