MT's or Hoosiers

What drag radial is more poplar? Hoosier or Mickey Thompson?

MT is more popular and is better if you get caught in the rain and has a little stiffer sidewall. They wear about the same, but hoosiers are a little softer and have more sidewall flex, and definitely don't attempt to drive them in the rain. They have 2 groves in them...no real tread pattern...kinda like an ET street. The hoosier's are lighter by as much as 8 lbs or so depending on the size.

As far as hooking, they both are consistent, I cut high 1.6 60's on both of them with just bmr lca's on bilstein shocks/dms springs and a 4400 converter with 3.73s with my old car.

I've had both...I'm planning a set of hoosier's in a 275/60/15 mounted onto some summit brand wheels for an easy wheel swap for the track (these wheels use stock lugs, and minimal brake grinding). I figure being lighter they'll help offset the heavier summit wheels compared to a set of 15x10 prostars.
