Default summit star wheels, test fit.

so i test fit my new wheels in the front today, it looks like there is enough clearance without a spacer. i can bearly put my finger in between the caliper and the wheel, and it looks like there is a 1/4" or less from the face of the caliper and the wheel, is that ok? here are some pics, tell me what you think. sorry there not the best pics.

Do the wheels spin freely?

I would like to hear how they are after the tires are on them.

Prostars use the "shank-style" lugnuts. Summit and Jegs carry them, as well as alot of parts stores.

i have 15x4 summit stars on my camaro. i have smaller front brakes tho but do have Ls1 4th gen rear end. I test fit the summit stars on the rear and it seemed to clear just fine. for extra safety run a 1/4 inch spacer. Not sure if ls1 rear brakes are the same as the fronts

wheels weighed about 13 lbs each. i run kumho 165/80/15's on these wheels and they weighed about 28 lbs total with the tire/wheel, so its about a 15lb tire.

just put the same rims on my uncles car. had to grind some but fit nice and he thinks they ride damn there near normal rim/tire. i put them on my ss and they wouldnt fit due to new pads and cross drilled slotted rotors.

New pads & rotors should not make a difference in weather they fit or now unless they are aftermarket calipers.

yes it will. the rear mounting point is stationary so when u add new pads (they will be thicker) and new rotors (99% of the time they will be thicker) it all goes towards the front. i.e the wheel.

So your saying they will only fit if your brakes are worn?
