Black CCW'S?

I have some 505a ccw's and I have been thinking about getting the centers painted or powdercoated ( which ever is better and will last longer) black. Well I need your opinions and if someone could please photoshop the pic below of my car. Thanks and I know it needs to be lowered.http://http://www.fquick.com/images/...jpg?1178774780

Anyone?

Detoxx03 Oct 30, 2007 02:51 PM

bump ttt hello

cpt_bimes Oct 30, 2007 03:07 PM

you don't want to mess up a set of rims like that.

plus pewter doesn't look too good with black.

BIG_MIKE2005 Oct 30, 2007 03:20 PM

Powder coated is the best way to go for long lasting & chip resistant. I personally think it'll look sick if you add some other subtle black accents to tie them in.

And for the record, pweter/black look very nice when done right.

It just a thoght right now but I would really like to get an idea of how it would look cause I have seen pewter and balck and it looks good but none had rims with a wide lip like mine

I'd do the CETA mod in high-gloss, black out your windows, and black chrome your CCW's. It'd be a pretty hot combination.

I know I have the ceta in semi gloss but thought about changing it. the back window is 5% but I need to do the rest

this is not my car btw. its a guy named fulton1 on here. he had Wheel2Wheel build the car for him. it has a dry sump 427 with all the goodies

TXws6 Oct 31, 2007 12:09 AM

hell yea do it, it would look sick!

ws6pewter Oct 31, 2007 07:31 AM

I love that black chrome. What wheels are those on the camaro CCW? I wanted that but could not afford CCW's

Detoxx03 you might want to search for AR Rebels. There is a guy on here that has the black ones with machined lip that is decent sized on a pewter trans am. It will give some idea of what it'll look like.

MeentSS02 Oct 31, 2007 09:24 AM

That finish was done by Helios Coatings if I'm not mistaken...a little bit different than chrome.

Thanks

thmass6 Oct 31, 2007 11:41 AM

I'd put that money into lowering it first IMO...

black chrome = BF'ing dollars

Fast_94_Z Oct 31, 2007 11:32 PM

anyone know if the red car is lowered?

RichieFlorida Nov 1, 2007 07:07 AM

I like the black chrome. I had my entire undercarriage done in Black Chrome so I am a big fan of the look and durability of Powdercoating.
