BFG DR's are slcik as hell

Well I had my first day at the track and had a great time today.
The bfg dr's hooked famously and were very sticky until I was on the way home and a rain shower came along and I almost lost my car.
The dr's are pretty much bald and when the rain came I got sideways on the interstate and then got sideways the other direction before regaining control and pulling onto the shoulder to dig my seat outa my ass and catch my breath from what I was sure was going to be a 25 car pileup on my T/A.
Whew I heard these BFG's were slick on the wet but had no idea how slick.
I was doing like 60 when I hydroplaned and then had to keep it below 40 until I got onto some more dry pavement.
Gonna go get some new tires on monday and never drive on the wet with these things again.
Any suggestions on a good 315/35/17 that has some grip on the wet?
I hear good things about these new vredestein or whatever they are called

no but I didnt get out of it real quick either.I turned the TCS on just seconds before cause of the wet.
I had been going about 90mph just a couple minutes before when it was dry and then I ran into the rain and started slowing down and was goin about 60 when it tried to swap ends.

thats what i heard bout bfg's!! they hook up very well, but are really scary to drive in the rain. thats why im looking into the nittos. i hear its a better street tire.

yep the bfg's are great for hooking not in the rain.

i switched to the goodyear gsd-3s. great tire cool tread pattern and just as wide if not wider than the bfg's. if you want cheap with no traction sumitumo's also work
