10 bolt on Nitto's? Problems? Has anyone ever blown or had any problems with a stock 10 bolt on Nitto DR's. I don't have the money for rearend and can't go without my car for long at all with it being my daily driver. Thanks for the input. Ryan |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? I ran Nitto's for nearly a year and a half with no problems. |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? I dont think ive heard of anybody blowing up a 10bolt on nittos. They do hook good but not good enough like slicks where they can do damage. Ive been running them on my 98 A4 with 3.23 for 3 months now no problems. Getting a 3800 stall and 3.73 gear that should be the test of the GM 10 bolt. |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? Thanks for the replies guys. It's my daily driver, so I can't break anything. Ryan |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? If the car hooks.. it can break the rear. Doesn't matter if it has the space saver on the rear... |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? This is my 3rd year on Nittos. First 2 years, around 330RWHP, this year around 420+RWHP. No problems, 6-speed, I launch on the street at 2500 or so. With 3:42 gears, it's difficult to get a dead hook on these tires, even at the track. IMHO. |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? people have blown up the stock rear on nittos. Its all how hard you drive. Ryan. |
Re: 10 bolt in Nitto's? Problems? I run full slicks on my 10 bolt with 457 ft lbs of tq to the wheels..... :burn: |
