Default What size slicks will fit on my car?

Finally got my car to the track and could not get any traction! What size wheel and tire can i use that will fit and get really good traction? I was thinking of a mt et street but dont know what size. i know i will need new rims but theis is just to go to the track with and not street driving. My best et was 9.019 at 81.114 MPH in the 8th....that seems really slow to me for the car. its a 98ss with headers, borla, maf, underdrive pully, lowered, subfram connectors, panhard bar, shift kit, mti box. HELP HELP!!

I'd either put Nitto drags on the car full time or get a set of take-off 16's and put some E/T Streets on. 26x10.5.15

What are your 60ft times?

I think you meant to say 26 10.5 x 16 since a 15" will not fit a 16" take off wheel....

I would get the Nittos for the power level that you are at. If you can get some 1.7-1.8 60fts on the Nittos, you would see probably around 8.3-8.5 in the 1/8th

Figure you could pull some 1.9's. That might allow you to reduce your E/T's in the quarter by .25 to .3
