Nitto D/R's in the rain...

Anyone running these tires year-round? In Florida, the rain is a daily thing. I just don't want to worry about hydroplaning my car across the highway because I know the tread isn't that deep when they are new. Do you recommend them as a year-round tire? Thanks, all.

All year here. Don't go over 60 in hard rain ( so hard you can't see cars in front of you till your on them ), car gets a little squirrely.

I have run them daily in Florida for the last year and a half. I have had no problems! They are good tires for all around driving. What happens is when you let them get worn to where they look like slicks and then try driving in the rain! Then you will run into some problems!
