What's the widest on stock

Anyone know, what's the widest tire you can put on the stock rims off a 2000 T/A? They're the 16X8's. I'm thinking 255/50/16. Would this be the correct ratio?

245/50x16 = 25.65" (stock)
255/50x16 = 26.04"
275/50x16 = 26.83"

If this is true, there are no tires with the size of 275/50/16 !!! No one sells this size tire.

sorry, i guess they stopped making them... BFG used to have the comp t/a vr's in that size, now they just have a 295/50x16, which is 27.6" tall... anyway, the 255 would be the size to get...
