I didn't think they would fit.. I thought it was for wider wheels.. Size: 255/50R16 Compound: R2 Approx. Weight: 28 Ibs. Meas. Rim: 10.0" Size Equivalent: 26 x 10.50 x 16 Sidewall Width: 10.3" Tread Width: 9.7" Overall Diameter: 26.0" Circ.: 82" |
255 is the biggest you'd want to put on a 16x8. |

255 will fit fine on that rim size. i wouldnt go bigger though |
I have a set of stock Z28 wheels with 28x10x16 Hoosier's. They fit fine, going to the track tomorrow with them. |
Just run the Micky Thompson ET radials on your stock rims. Or get a cheap pair of 17" rims from someone local. |
In my opinion 255's look great on 16 by 8's...no safety issues either... |
I have a pair of chrome ZR1's I'd let go for $75 if someone came and got them, so they are available locally cheap. |
if they were a 17X11 I would jump on them :) I've got the stock ZR1's I just want to keep street tires on them so I dont wear out the DR's daily driving. |
