Bogart D10's

My new wheels are ready to go. These are Bogart D10's (15x4 front and 15x9.75 rear). I want thank
Steve Monte for all his help ordering these and the guys at ESP for getting them mounted and balanced  . If you are shopping for Bogarts contact Steve SJM Mfg and he'll take care of you!

I love those wheels! If I had the money to sink into a set I'de be rollin on em myself but I can't justify spending 1100 on drag wheels.

wow...looks REALLY good!

Did you have to grind your calipers? Any other modifications to get them to fit...spacers, etc?

would you mind telling me how much everything was total?

Sorry, i'm a wheel newbie.

Thanks,

That's all I needed to see. I'm gonna put my wheels up for sale after the end of the season and get me some Bogarts.

COMING SOON...WELD DRAGLITES FOR SALE =)

Re: Bogart D10's

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like them. Pictures really don't do them justice, they are top quality pieces.

Jarrod: The P1 series Bogarts are designed specifically for our cars so you don't need to alter anything to get them to fit. The wheels, open lug nuts for the rears and shipping totalled $1170. I know that's a lot of money for drag racing wheels but to me it was well worth it. You should give Steve Monte a call if you are interested because his price is significantly lower than MSRP.

Ken, what size ET streets did you go with for the 9.75 width?

Re: Bogart D10's

Sweet! Bogarts are THE best quality drag wheels for our cars. I was going to buy a set from Steve for my Formula, but I sold the car.

I love those rims. But, as badass as they are, i think i'd rather go w/ a set of Welds, and have some cash left over for gas to run to the track lol

Price isn't as bad as you think. Email Steve.

Re: Bogart D10's

Thanks, guys I'm very happy with them.

Bill: I went with 26x11.5 ET Streets and they fit great. Unfortunately, they are not sticking so well at the track for me. I think my next tires are going to be 28x9 ET Drags. The downside if I do that is that I'll have to get the Bogarts drilled for screws  .

Re: Bogart D10's

Have you check this set for spinning on the rim?

Re: Bogart D10's

Ken and others:

Thanks for the kind words! We try to do our best to please everyone.

Regarding slipping, we have some guys using 28's with them running them down to low PSI's and not having issues. One tip is to scuff up the inner lips to give the tires a bit more "bite" before mounting them. I would try this and see how it turns out for you. You may find it not necessary to run the screws at this point in time unless you do start slipping.

Hope this helps,

Steve

Re: Bogart D10's

I'm running 28x10.5 ET Drags on my Bogarts, no tubes, no screws, no spacers, no problems. Minimal caliper grinding. And Steve will be happy to learn that after some front caliper grinding, I have ditched the spacers I was running up front. ;)

(more pics at link in sig)

I bought 2 sets of rears - one with street tires, one with slicks, so I can drive on skinnies all the time. I got them when they were first introduced, so they were a little less expensive back then. ;)
