Adding Alpine amp Hi,
So, I am trying to wire in the RCAs.
Do I run the RCAs from the new amp, add a line output converter, and wire them into the sail pannel speaker, and leave the current wires in the speaker too?
This is my first audio install, so expect a question or two more from me !!

bump looking for what to use for my speaker to RCA converter as well?
Anybody know if the rear tweeter wires are filtered or not? I know they conme right off the deck.
What are the sail pannel sub speakers filtered too off the monsoon amp?
If they are filtered say from 75hz to 400hz, you are not going to be getting the super low freqency signals of your music going to the subs at all, so I would think a totally unfiltered signal would work best and let your amp and crossover filter the signal to your liking.

You can buy the rca converters at places like Best Buy or Circuit City. Its a small box w/ speaker wire attachments on one end and RCA's out the other. It really doesn't matter where you tap into the speaker wire. The only diference is power output before the monsoon amp and after. Before is a lower voltage and could potentially give you a cleaner sound. After, obviously is an amplified signal which will give you a higher power input to your amp, but may cause distortion at higher volume levels. A benefit to just taping off the speaker lessens the amount of rca cable that needs to be ran. Are you trying to add subs? (I'm assuming) I'd agree w/ J-train as well. You could easily tap off of the aft quarter speakers to get the full frequency.
Yea, adding one 10" sub, and one 500watt amp.
The RCAs are approx 5 meters long, and I already have a line output converter on the RCA, so I just need to know where to wire it in.
