Charging Issues With New System?

Hey guys, I am gonna be installing my new system soon. Here is what It will consist of:

Alpine HU
Two 10" Type R's with a JL Audio J2 1000 Amp (500W per Sub)
Alpine speakers
JL Audio J2 320 amp (60w per speaker)
3F Capacitor

I wont be BLARING the system all the time..... I will prolly have it turned up about half way when im Jamming. I will running 4ga. Wire to the cap and then running 4ga off of that to each amp.

Will I have any charging problems? Putting another batter in the car is definetly out of the question.... What do you guys reccomend? Thanks a lot!

You should be fine with stock electrical, but get rid of the capacitor, it'll usually do more harm to your battery then good. And if you're not going full tilt at night with all the lights on and stuff you shouldn't see voltage drop, but if you did you could simply do the Big 3 which would be sufficient.

I think you can do better, especially with the subwoofers, and definitely dump the capacitor.

You'll be fine. Just to the big 3 to help bring down some stress.

And, like they ^^ said, lose the cap.

The capacitor really wont help much. . . . . But, I don't really see what it can harm.

What do you mean do better?

The guy at the stereo shop told me I should run a capacitor thats why I was going to get one, but if you guys say not to then I wont..... Can someone please tell me what the big 3 consists of? Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about getting different subs if you have them, they're not a bad sub and should sound fine unless you're trying to get really loud.

And here's a video to help you understand what the Big 3 is, should help you out.

Time to go elsewhere.

Yeah man, no offense to you, but if a guy at a SHOP is telling you to run a cap, then I would definitely be looking for another shop.
