Auto down driver's window - delete

I don't like the way the auto down rams the window to the bottom and bulges the inside of the door. I want to be able to control it's descent.

Can I bypass the module by connecting gray wire "E" from the switch directly to brown wire "A" on the motor?

It won't make much difference because the window will bottom out like that whether using the auto down or putting it all the way down by holding the switch. It is designed to stop only when the resistance at the motor increases because it has reached the end of it's travel (it's the same on the way up).

If you really want to disable it, it's easier to just disconnect the brown wire at terminal C of the control module. Without power, the internal relay of the control module will never engage and the window will have only manual control.

Thanks, Whitebird00.

Elegant solution as always.

IIRC there are rubber bump stops in the bottom of the doors,
maybe installing some larger ones will stop the windows sooner.
I always stop them just short of bottoming out or push them back up enough
to relieve the pressure in the door panels because the threads I've seen on the door
panels splitting.
