map lights bad?

I just got my car tinted the other week. When i got it back, i pulled the fuse for the power windows so i wouldnt accidentally hit them. I noticed that the map lights stopped working so i thought it was due to the fuse. They're new led lights and ive only had them in for a month or so. Always worked fine no probs. So after i put that fuse back in, they still dont work. any ideas?

Its the vertical rotating knob next to the headlight switch.

:stupid:

Don't do what I did in my old car and think I had a major electrical failure when it was just the dimmer turned all the way down :jest:

i would have noticed if that was off..my gauges would be dim, and wouldnt my rear cargo light be out too? thats working fine. any other possibilities?

Assuming that the tint shop also installed a tint strip across the top of the windshield, did you check that they didn't unplug the mirror connection?

LWCS561 06-12-2010 03:57 PM

ahh...i didnt think of that. ill check tonight after work. where would it connect?

Danny2tek 06-12-2010 05:41 PM

the back of your rear view mirror, small clip
