Monsoon HU speaker outputs

Monsoon HU speaker outputs I looked at the wiring diagrams of the stock Monsoon setup, and it looks like the HU powers some of the speakers, but the Monsoon amp does most of the work.
My question is, could the speaker outputs from the Monsoon HU power speakers on thier own without the amp? Does the Monsoon amp simply boost the speaker inputs?
Reason I am asking is I want to know if the Monsoon HU will power a modest set of speakers, all by itself, in an old car.
