Not necessarily. A lot of factors come in to play and for sound quality a 10" would compliment average speakers and not drown them out as much as two 12's may. And are you talking about running both a 10" and 15" at the same time..? |

Yeah, that's what I would like. A 15" has the ability to reach lower in the sound frequency range than a 12", but it doesn't have the ability to reach as high in the range as a 12". A 10" has the opposite problem. That's why I think a 10" and a 15" would compliment each other well. I agree that it all depends on the goal of the sound system. I like playability (10") and extreme (15"), so I compromised when I saw an awesome deal on my current setup. |
ok i just got the amp now since its a two channle should i bridge it to one? and turn the gains up? how u set a amp up? |
I have two 12"s. How you should set up the amp depends on the speakers and the amp. You do not want to go lower on impedance than your amp is rated for or send more power to your speakers than they are rated for. I would check on the audio sponsors' websites to see if they have instructions on how to set up an amplifier and what audio terms mean. If not, I can PM you a non-sponsor link. |
