Stereo and windows don't work for 10 seconds
 

When I start the car, the Stereo and windows don't work for 10 - 30 seconds, but the power locks do, and I can drive the car. AFter the 10 or 30 seconds, everything returns to normal.

Also, when i park the car and remove the key from the ignition, the stereo stops playing. It used to be that the stereo would continue playing.

all my electronics are stock except the radio which I had an aftermarket stereo installed about 2 months ago. i think it was an alpine unit.

does anyone know what's going on here?

Its the BCM. happens to most of us camaro/trans am guys.

search around for the picture of the BCM, you take it out and re-solder 4 or 5 points i forget and it fix's everything. its a 30 minute job anyone can do.
