Base Setup for High pass and Low pass filter
Base Setup for High pass and Low pass filter I am not completely happy with the setup the shop did for my system and not the greatest when it comes to this area. I have the KDC-MP922 kenwood head unit with JL 6450 amp, jl 650xi and 650si front and rear speakers with jl w010 sub.
Can someone please give me an idea where to start and move on so I can get the best sound from this?

Where to setup the High and Low pass filters, and which way to move them to get the best sound.
The wiring is fine. I am just not thrilled with the sound. I know the system has to sound better then this.

ok....one more bit of info. There are more model number to the speakers you have either TR,VR, or XR....need to know which ones you have.Also what kind of enclosure is your sub in....sealed or vented?

Right now the amp runs all the speakers, and sub. The head unit also has a built in amp, but disabled.
