Cutout wiring - how long?

Im piecing together my cutout for my Borla system - I have the cutout (needs new motor) and switch mounted in the ash tray - how long does the wire need to be? It needs to go from the ash tray to just behind the axle on the passenger side. Badlanz sells them with the weather proof ends in 10' and 15' lengths...

TIA

Forgot to mention the car is in a different county so measuring isnt an option... basically, I'm gathering parts to put on all in one weekend

If you are planing to run the wire through the rear seat, under the carpet -> center console
you will be ok with 10ft.

If the cutout is after the rear axle, I would get AT LEAST 15' just to be safe. I have my e-cutout right after the rear axle (on the bend) and I have the switch wired up to my power seat controls. Luckily, my DMH e-cutout came with enough wiring.
