Default Connectors C230 and C220

I have a 2002 z28 with a th400 and 6.0 swap. Still running the ls1 f body harness in my car stock. The harness ended up getting cut and it happens to be the wire that run through the passenger side firewall through that rubber grommet. From my understanding these are for C230 and C220 which control the gauge cluster? My car is turbod and has been tuned and all that so VATS is tuned out. I’m just wondering what will happen if I try and start the car with those wires cut. Do they control anything important ? I read threads on them but just says stuff like they control some of the gauges. I’m just wondering if running the car with having those wires cut will mess anything up. And if I lose any of my gauges what will they be? I have a lot of aftermarket ones hooked up so it may not matter. Thanks

Believe the obd data lead may be in that group also

yup I think I saw that earlier. I’m gonna be splicing them all back together tomorrow so we’re good regardless.

do you know if the two green wires and the two gray wires matter if the are mixed up a rat got into my engine and cut my c20 n c30 connector i matched all other cables but this 4 cables im afraid that i will fry something if i just guess

yes they matter. The green ones especially which originally was my problem I found out. They were backwards and I didn’t even know it. I’m not sure on the grey wires but the green ones do. I’m on a Holley terminator ecu now but yes.

so if i connect them wrong will it fry anything? im thinking of putting male/female connectors on those that way i can switch them if i connect wrong ones?

no it shouldn’t ruin any wires but whatever they connect to won’t work if they aren’t hooked up correctly. So you’ll find out real quick.
