Heres my plan...please help!! 1. I got a panasonic Mp3 H/U from my old car i wanna put in......
2. When i bought the car it didnt come with front speakers....at all....
what size coaxials do i need??? a 2 way- and a tweeter for each side??
3. The speakers right behind my head on the left and right sides....they suck. And they arent stock. Plus the one on the right is blown...what sound do these put out?? There are 2 way speakers currently there.
4. I always hear about monsoon subs and amp (i have monsoon) but all i see are two panels, one on each side right by the weather stripping in the hatch.... Under the driver side is a little sub (im assuming) and a small *** speaker...i didnt change the passenger side. What are these?? Should i replace them??

Do you have a camaro or trans am? Both have different speaker set ups.
1. That would be a nice upgrade.
2. If you have a camaro, then the front speakers are going to be coaxials. But you can do either coaxials or components. Components you have to find a place to mount the tweeter.
3. These are called sail panel speakers and are known as the subs in the systems. They are 6.5" woofers. They put out bass. If there is 2 ways in there now, then someone put the wrong type speaker in there and that is why they suck.
4. These are reffered to as the rear speakers in the hatch area. They are a 4" speaker used for rear fill for the music. Some people replace them, others leave them out for staging (if your into sound quality and cometition).
