How to remove bezel in front of radio? Before I break the thing off, how does the bezel in front of the radio (00' T/A Monsoon) come off so that you cna change the radio? Thanks. Checked FAQ's and couldn't find anything. |
Carefully pull it. There are metal clips near the corners. |
Just pry a little on the corners and it should pop right out. I usually just pull on the bottom (only place I can get a hold of with my fingers) and slowly pull until one of the edges come loose. |
I made a small video of how to remove the bezel and put it back on: http://users.rcn.com/my57chevy/RadioBezel.wmv I basically started at the top middle. When that part pulled away slightly (the clips havent budged yet), I slide my fingers left and pop off the left corner and work my way around to pop off all four corners. |

The video link above from 2005 still works! :-) |
