Delco 12 disc changer won't eject...

A couple of weeks ago the button to change cd's stopped working so I could only listen to one cd @ a time, and now the cd's won't eject at all and I can't listen to any cd's because it just loads them all and quits. The car is way past warranty, so do you think I should just forget about this system and get a new one, or take my chances @ the dealership? :bang:

sounds to me like he wants to keep the stock system, some people do perfer the stock system becaue it is STOCK and looks better than an aftermarket head sticking out int hat oversized gap :p, and the monsoon system, albeit not the best system out there, sounds great, but honestly who needs a system, all you need is a decent exhast ;)

Sounds to me like he is on the fence about it. So, go your route and let him get raped by the dealership.

*shrug* personally i would have just went on ebay and kept a lookout for a cheap 12 disc replacement, or a 6 disc, or even jsut a cd head unit and an aftermarekt adaptor or cd changer that works with it, which si what i did in my last car, and besides a whole new aftermarket system woudl rape his wallet either way, unless you go cheap, but in that case youd end up with a system sounding worse.

and to not i missed the "or get a new one" part on his post and he was jsut aksing what to do about it, its his decision, personally i liek the stock look and i wodul just replace the changer, but thats just personal preference

and i appologize if i sounded kinda flamy, i misread his posta and jsut thougth he was askign how to fix, , not a fix or new one deal, my bad

Thanks for the input. I think I'll try 3 things. Look for a factory replacement on ebay. See how much it will cost to fix @ the dealership, and look into getting an aftermarket adaptor. =)
