Turn signal problem Hi Folks
97 Z-28. I have a problem with Right turn signal - when the car is first started and running for a while, the right turn signal work Ok. Then sometime later it stops working - the back light comes on but not the front - replaced the bulb and looked at the wiring/connector - looks OK. Let the car sit for a while and touch nothing, restart the car and it starts working again. The left side OK - no problem. I think it is the DRL module - any thoughts? does anybody have a part numberfor the DRL.

I'm not entirely sure how / where the DRL and Turn signal systems connect, but you may want to just go ahead and replace the socket. It only costs $6~$7 at AutoZone. Considering how many of these fail (mine included) it's worth a shot.

i have a similar problem: Passenger DRL not on, turn signal not working. I changed out the socket, (mine was full of crud). connected it and it work for about 5 minutes then the DRL and turn signal stopped working. I have searched and I am wordering there the DRL module is located so i can change that out.
by the way if you go to Gm part direct they have the module for sale there but the part number is not listed.
