12 disk changer probs
12 disk changer probs when i use it all the cds sound very fuzzy, and static-like.....the problems not my cds cause they play fine up front
ive treid the cleaner disk thing in it and that didnt help....so is there a simple fix for this?

CD's are digital media. They either play perfectly, skip sometimes, or don't play at all. You are not getting static from the CD's themselves. The problem is likely in the Changer input circuit to your head unit.

My previous post was using the assumption that the signal from the changer to the HU was a digital data signal, not an analog audio signal. To be honest, I have no clue as to whether that is true. And after further contemplation, I realize that while this is an ideal setup as it reduces the opportunity for electrical noise to distort your music, the fact that you can play them fine "up front" suggests that this is unlikely. AS this would mean the head unit would have to have 2 independant DAC's (Digital to Analog Converters). A highly unlikely arrangement. IF the signal was digital from the changer and used the same DAC as the internal CD player, you would get static from either player or not at all.
So assuming there is an audio signal coming from the changer, I'd look for noise sources between the changer and the HU. It could be caused by the changer itself, too.
I'm sorry to say, I just don't have simple solution for you. You could get another changer off of ebay and swap it out to see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, you can put it back up for sale and get most if not all your money back.

well on mine when I first play it I get crapy quality sound, espesially if I havent played it in a while. But the sound gets better the longer it plays, I have used the cleaner but it only works for a day before you have to use the cleaner again, all cds being NEW opened then stuck directly in the 12 disk, any ideas?
