Adding sub to factory system...please help! I recently had my pioneer head unit stolen from my car, but they didnt steal my sub and amp. The amp has high level inputs so that isn't a problem. My factory system isn't monsoon. I need to know where to hook up the blue (power on) wire to? Any help would be appreciated.
you need a special adaptor thing, thats how i got mine hooked up to my factory headunit. but i dont know where to get it i got mine hooked up at a audio shop so just go to one of those and ask them to get you one.
Tap into either the switched power line or the power antenna lead. Splice right into it, the turn on draws no real current so capacity isn't a problem. You just need a switched lead.
