Default part number for...

anyone know where i can get a part number for the bolt that holds down the dead pedal? when i got my car, the bolt was already missing, but the pedal stayed off to the side. now that i put my crossovers inside the kick panels, they bulge out, and the dead pedal sticks out even further. if i culd just get that part number, maybe i can try to find it at lowe's or home depot...

Unfortunately, there is no part number for the bolt. It is listed in the parts manual as "N.S." (non-stocking). That would mean that it is a standard bolt that dealers are expected to have in their hardware bins. The manual doesn't even list the size. Maybe someone can pull theirs out and see what size it is (I can't do that until at least the weekend).

Sure, if nobody else responds sooner then I'll have a look at it this weekend and let you know.

Yes...sorry, I checked it but forgot to post what I found. It's not actually a bolt. It's the same phillips head screw as used all the way along the sill panel trim (alongside the door). It's like a #10 sheet metal screw about two inches long. You should be able to pull one out of the trim panel and take it to match at a hardware store.
