how to wire two 10's to factory deck?? what do i need to run 2 ten inch kickers to my factory deck, i have a kenwood KAC-646 4 channel amp????? |
In order to wire two tens to your deck youll need an adaptor called a line output convertor. There about $20 at Best Buy and Circuit City. This just splices into your factory wiring and will give you the RCA outputs for your amplifier. Im running this setup in mine and it works great... love the sleeper system look |

youll need the line output convertor as well as a wiring kit for the amp. Other than that your all set. Expect to spend around $60 total if you install it yourself |

The easiest way of doing this is to purchase two wiring harnesses for your radio; one that plugs into the factory radio, and one that plugs into the factory wiring harness that plugs into the radio. Wire both of the wire ends of both of those harnesses together, and connect the line output adapter between them on the speaker leads. this way you are not cutting any factory wire, and can revert to the factory setup in seconds. Here's a thread discussing it with part #'s: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...tput+converter see post #28. |
