will two L7's slow me down
 

i have a stealth box with a ten in it, i want to get a box from sub thump.com that holds two 12's L7. After i get the subs and amp installed will this weight enought to slow me down?

Whats up? good to see an Arkansan on the boards! Will it slow you down? Yes, but by how much depends on the total weight of the components. The general rule of thumb is for every 100lbs its .1 in the quarter so that will give you something to go by.

If your having traction problems now, the added weight may actually help you hook and get out better, but there is only one way to find out.

Yes it can but as the other two have already said it might help with traction if you have problems getting it now. I don't mind my subs slowing me down because I daily drive my T/A and very rarely race it. I'm surprised if I have raced it over 10 times in the year I have owned it. Plus you can't beat the sound of a good system. Also it warrants you having to do engine mods to make it faster again....:jest:
