anyone ever put LED's in the spoiler light? Has anyone ever done this. If so how? I was thinking about trying to find a small LED light bar and mount it behind the lens. |
The easy way is to replace the existing #921 bulbs with LED versions of the same bulb. |
I keep telling myself, one of these days I'm going to take a perf board and put LED's back there... when I do, I'll let you know! |
Don't bother putting leds in there. I did, and you will see two bright circles compared to the whole lense lit up. |

Nope. I got a few of those and it did the same thing, except it was dimmer than the wedx6. I have the wledx5 in my sidemarkers, glovebox, and I believe my license plate light. They work pretty good. |

https://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5808/ledvp4.jpg I have the wledx5 in there. Sorry for it being so blury, it's really really cold here. I have a piece of paper to cover my license plate, but you can still get the idea. I love it, I've seen pics of the led bars and I think they put out way to much light. This is just right, wish I would have done it sooner. |
Look at this http://www.ws7.se/led%20HighMounted%20Stoplamp.htm |
Wow thats awesome! Where did you find all of your stuff to do all that led work? I LOVE the front bird! |
