Help, Make it easy on me Please Can ya'll help to make this easy on me,
I am familiar with Monsoon, This is my 2nd car with it, I know about the 2 ohms speakers, and the amp,
This is the situation
I have a single driver's side sub box, and a JL sub,
Can you please suggest some head units, that have all the remote features necessary, (infared or whatever)
and the part numbers for the harnesses, and remote kit for steering wheel controls,
and an amp or two that would make a good setup,
I was thinking a single 5 channel amp to power everything, like the Silver JL 5-channel, (silver would match the car) or maybe a Kenwood, (silver also).
or a 4 channell to power all the speakers, and then a 1 channel for the sub.
nothing ridiculously outrageous, just solid, clean,
I plan on buying a piece or two every month, as I can spend about $400-$500 a month on stereo stuff, If I work a few extra shifts.
I am worried that I will buy some stuff that is not compatible, or won't offer me a feature that I may later want,

Re: Help, Make it easy on me Please are you saying you want to keep your monsoon speakers and just add the sub or get all new stuff. Cuase in my opinion it would probably sound better to just yank all the stock stuff and put in new speakers all around. Ive had three pioneer decks so far and have loved all of them they makes some good stuff, so does kenwood and alpine. i dont know thats just my opinion about the speakers i think it would be easier and sound better. hope that helps.
