HVAC controls doesn't light up I'm pretty sure the answer to this has been given hundreds of times but this new search feature thing is not helping me. So anyways, my HVAC lights don't work. And it helps my car be really dark at night. I pulled the HVAC out halfway without unplugging anything. But I cannot figure out what makes it light up???? Is there bulbs somewhere I can't see without tearing it apart??? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ateCable15.jpg |
I am willing to bet that those two plugs that the yellow and brown wires are going to are your light bulbs.--Tony |
They're #74 bulbs. |
and where would these #74 bulbs be located on the HVAC? |
those 2 things with yellow and grey wires twist and pull out, counter clockwise i believe and the bulb will be there |
awesome. I started thinking that after I seen this picture I found online. Does anyone know if it would look good with a different color bulb, such as blue?? |
it 'll look good but get an led bulb because a different color filament bulb is dimmer because the color is just a coat over the bulb. the led will be more true color. btw those 74 bulbs are tiny i couldnt get them out with my hands i bit on them and pulled them out. both of mine blew at the same time and i just replaced them with the same bulbs. |

lol, so what's the other option besides biting on them?? I don't want to accidentally break the bulb in my mouth. |
