trans am headlight problem Ok at random times my pop-up lights will go off, not both at the same time, but it is really pissing me off. It will be fine one day and rhen another day it will just go out at random times. i have to get out of my car and hit my light to make it go on. I think it is a lose connect but not sure.... anyone else have the same problem? I think that when my lights pop up it might knock the harness lose....sound right?
lol yeah on my passenger side when i turn them on i have to go tap on them. the barbed connectors are a pita to fix from what i've heard.

yes and no... mine is at the connector where there are 5 wires (the brights and dims share the black wire)
my brights are affected in this situation also.
im going to just bypass the connector the only reason you need it is for easy removal of you headlight assy. you can soldier it in if you have a soldiering equipment but i figure it's not hard to cut the wires if i need to replace my HL motor and i wont have to worry about a bad connect again
if it's the two prong socket connected directly to your light you will most likely have to soldier it

dirty junction connection I had this problem I resolved it by cleaning the dirty junction connection w/ electronic cleaner spray in the areasole can then taped it w/ quailty 3m electrical tape that was about 4 years ago no problem since.
look inside the junction connecter for a blueish reside like what you wound see on a battery terminal.
also it was the pass. side light but I still look up and over the hood to confirm the light is up and on thanks again GM shittie HL motor and shittie connector.
