Found it 3 blocks over from my house back up in a driveway in 97'. 64k with dinged from fenders and no rust. Drove it bone stock for a year in high school. Le Mans Blue w/ stock 14" wheels & the Chevy hubcaps. Good times...
Sitting in the trunk...I have an LS T56, McLeod 1st Gen adapter plate, factory TH400 crossmember (needs mount cut off & refit). Was going to swap the T56 gehind the Gen I 350...
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Base trim, 230 cu in 6 cyl and 3 spd manual on the column. Swapped in a mild 350 with a comp cam, ported fuelie heads, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, and a Holley 650 carb. 1 3/4" Hooker Super Comps into dual 3" 2 chambers dumped before the rear end. Holley Blue fuel pump. Trans is a mid to late 70s Borg Warner Super T10. GM drive-shaft w/ Spicer 1350s. Swapped the 8.2" 10-bolt for a 12-bolt with Strange street axles, rebuild kit, and original GM Posi.
Suspension Modifications:
Polyurethane bushings front and rear, cut factory front coil springs, new tie rod ends, idler, & pitman arms. GM multi-leafs to replace the monos. KYB shocks. Swapped GM discs in front and rebult factory drums in rear.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
BFGs and rallies w/ the early caps.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Stock interior w/ 4th gen F Body seats. Paddock Steel repro cowl-induction hood. Ugly, surface rust and rattle can primer body.
Future Modifications:
Thinking... EFI LQ4, T56, LS7 clutch...nasty cam...Detroit Speed mini-tub kit, Strange S60, some 18s, new control arms, spindles, and springs front and rear, and some Baer brakes. Maybe some new LeMans Blue and limo tint... Read more ยป
