1. 5th Generation Corvette

The C5 was the Corvette that allowed GM to bring the American sportscar into the 21st century, and keep it relevant to a new generation of buyers. One of the biggest changes was the hydroformed frame, which improved the structural stiffness of the Corvette, making everything else better. The other huge improvement was the introduction of the now legendary LS1 engine, which worked with a now rear mounted transaxle to enhanced the weight distribution of the sports legend. The smoothed over styling didn't sit well with everyone, but since its debut the C5 has become accepted for the awesome dynamic sports machine it is.

2. Clean and Stock

The star of this story is a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Commemorative Edition 1SC, which is covered in a perfect factory applied coat of (Commemorative Edition only) LeMans blue paint. This C5 is equipped with the stock LS1 engine, a 5.7-liter V8 developing 350-horsepower. There is really nothing too special about this Corvette at first glance, looking like any other of the 2,200 LeMans Blue (non-Z06) coupes, in fact, it comes equipped with an unfortunate slushbox transmission.

4. The Last of its Kind

Not only is this Corvette the very last C5 ever made, it also has never been registered, making it officially a brand new 2004 model year still. If this is not impressive enough, the zero-owner C5 has 28-miles on it, and it probably has never seen the light of day, except for more than quick transportation between dealers. July 1st, 2004 was a special date for Chevrolet, the day that the very last C5 rolled off of the line, and this is that car.

The Corvette is currently on loan to the National Corvette Museum, but it is posted on Buyavette.net for sale with buy it now retail price of $1 million. What do you think it is worth?
