700HP NA C6 Z06 vs 10-second 500HP LS3 C6 From a Dig
Here’s what a 700 whp Z06 looks like against a mid 10-second LS3-equipped C6 Corvette. Seriously, we can talk numbers all day, but when you see two cars go at it, that’s where the rubber meets the road.
In this case, the all-motor 700 whp Z06 isn’t to be taken lightly. It’s parts list is out of this world: RHS 427, Mast heads, 160 shaft rockers, ARH 2″ stepped headers, Corsa exhaust, ported FAST 102, NW 102 TB, Halltech M107R CAI, NX fogger kit (not used), Meziere electric water pump and a RPS BC3.
The C6 it races is no slouch either. It’s best rim was 10.64 @ 127 mph thanks to a big Vengeance Racing cam, Yank 3800 stall, FAST 102, ARH 1-3/4″ long-tubes, 3″ X-pipe with 3″ Z06 mufflers, Halltech 107 CAI, Hoosier drag radials and 2.56 gears.
No disrespect meant towards the C6 owner—it’s a bad-ass car in its own right—but DANG, that Z06 is a beast! We can’t wait to see it make full passes at the strip and rolls against some other heavy hitters.
