I joined the club...on a bone stock 600.
Cliffs: 2007 GSXR 600, bone stock with no strapping, no stretching, no lowering, no tricks. I weigh about 185 in full gear. +511 DA.
Backed it up with two more 10.9 passes on the day and also hit 127.

Thanks. I love taking this bike to the road course as it's especially fun on more technical tracks like Loudon, which is closest to home for me, but I do enjoy drag racing a lot. I was leaving around 8000 RPM with a fairly aggressive initial release on the clutch, but then a slow, smooth release for the second half of the clutch engagement. You really have to ride the **** out of these clutches to get it goin hard. Half the trick is in going WOT the second you start to launch. From the time the light goes green until the point where I shift second gear, the throttle never leaves the fully open position. And if I power shift a pass instead of clutchless shifting it, then it never leave WOT the entire pass from the instant the tree goes green.

That's one of the reasons I love mine so much; 90% of the people I encounter seem to think "600" means "slow". It may be slow compared to other sport bikes, but they're still 10-second capable vehicles, which is quicker than 90% of the street cars you're going to see out there. Most people just don't know what they're doing on a bike (even though they all think they do), so you have 12-second cars running with them or beating them and everyone seeing this and thinking they aren't much.
