What is the best way to clean the inside of a intake manifold
I sprayed an ungodly amount of Sea Foam spray Deep Creep (like 3 cans) inside everywhere, let it sit for like 30 minutes and then took a toilet type brush that had a flexible pole attached to it and ran it straight through all the runners and all inside the intake. I did that process like 4 times. It was smooth as glass inside when I got done. And when I put the water hose to it after the Deep Creap sat and soaked in, it was pure black water that came out each time.
I was told I should have taken it apart, but I didn't think about that a tthe time. Probably get it cleaned up faster if you take it apart. I didn't know you could.

You need some high filler primer i believe its called. **** it, spray the whole can on it. Can be found at any auto parts store. Then pick your color out. Spray paint it with some duplicolor paint. 2-3 coats, whatever you desire. Then clear coat it if you wish, but remember you'll have to polish it and that'll be hard to do as well, since there are so many curves. I polished mine after I cleared it, to get it to shine better. I wanted it to really shine.
PM me later. When I get home i'll show you some pics if you care to see the finished product.
