Just hit the 11's!!!!
Finally got it done!!! Friday nite Tnt 3-11-10 Montgomery Motorsports Park

Anyway, my car is a 99 T/A with a stock bottom end 6.0, out of the box L92 heads, custom comp cam, bolt-ons, etc., A4, FTI 4K stall, stock 10-bolt with 3.23 gears, Z-06 replicas (17 inch) with 275-40 drag radials, mostly full weight. Looking to put on a 150 wet shot, 15 inch welds with M/T drag radials and get in the 10 second club.

Went again friday nite

I can't get my 60 to come down. I am stalling it up as high as it will go without pushing through the brakes on the footbrake and leaving. It's not spinning. I'm scared to flash the converter with this stock 10-bolt. Ideas?

I agree, but I will wait til it breaks. I know lower gears would help me 60 better, but I'm not gonna put $ in this 7.5 inch 10 bolt. Maybe this is the best it will 60 like it sits til I spray it.

Went again last night.... new best.

I tried stalling the converter on the footbrake on the above pass. I also tried flashing the converter from an idle and went 11.759@115.96....very little change.

slow00gt, a rear end is in the future, but I'm not one to fix it if it ain't broke. I am saving, but it's for a HSW plate kit and some big-n-littles with better drag radials.

my buddy (silverz28camaro) leaves from an idol everytime and cuts 1.4-1.5 60s consistantly...but he has a 12.bolt....just try it a ten bolt is only 150 bucks if u break it

Longshot, I like the converter. It is a lot of fun to drive on the street. It is nasty from a kick, but plenty docile just tooling around town. I am learning how to launch it at the track. I only have about 12 passes in the car. I have always raced 5 speeds before.

I know you're right. I've been thinkin' bout some GM 3.73's........but I'll probably wait and see what it does on the gas with 3.23's before changing. I pulled about 50 lbs. out to see what it will do....maybe 11.6x? It rained us out Friday, but I'm gonna try it Sunday.
