good job but get rid of those 28" tall tires,i saw in another post that you switched from slicks to drag radials,please tell me there 26" tall.
smaller is better in a auto if you can hook it.i had a ss3600 with a 235/60/15 drag radial and my best 60' was 1.55.would go anywhere from 1.56-1.58 consistently.
shift it at atleast 6000rpm,try different rpms from 6000-6500

I have the following parts to go on: Chris1313 AC version, Front and rear Strange DA shocks, Racetronix 255 w/hotwire, WOT and window switch. HSW Plate kit installed.

I have considered going back to a 26" tire but not sure yet. I will have to buy something before I race again.
