I did it on stock 3.23s and a 28" wrinkle wall Mickey tire last time I went to the track. LS6 heads with a bit of work and a baby reverse split cam.

This year I plan on going back with good DA, 28.5 ET streets, and 4.10s, better heads and tune to boot.

Any guestimates?

I have an older TSP grind for the cam, 231/237 112+2 and Patriot LS6 Stage II heads. As far as intake, I'm running a Fast 90/90. I know that the car has more in it. It maybe my launch technique that I need to work on. 1st pass, I held the car at 1000-1200 rpm to launch, netted me a slower 60' time but 2mph faster at 116mph. The next to times it was about 2000rpm when I launched.

I'm also trying to think if I adjusted my pinion angle when I lowered the car. I plan on putting the are up on jack stands tonight and checking that out. Along with installing my Line-Lock.

If anyone has some sugestions to get me into the 11's throw them out there. Thanks,
Ken

Try a 1300 launch with 18psi in the tires and smack it hard while powerbraking it. Over inflate your front tires by 10psi and barely trip the lights when staging.
Where is your car shifting at WOT?

11s full weight is easily attainable with full bolt ons.

Get the 60' where it should be.. Either fix your suspension, fix the tune, or change the converter... Whichever is cashing the issue.

Full weight bolt-on car ran a 12.03 @ 111. I would have thought your 60 ft would be lower and the MPH seems low for a h/c/i car, even in the warm weather.

It's shifting right at 6800 rpm. I think the tune is spot on. Didn't think to over inflate the fronts. Going to try to go up again before putting the car away for the winter. Still need to look into my DS angle after my lowering the car 1.25".

One thing I've noticed is that the majority of the cars in this thread are a4s. I think it would be more interesting to find out how many m6s have done it. Mine has gone as quick as a 12.02 @ 116.5 at a 3660 rcwt, on street tires, with just bolt-ons. That was in negative da. My h/c times are in my sig.

Agreed, what 6 speed cars are running what they actually should be based on mph? not many.

I'm in the 7.6's @ 93-94 hitting the limiter before the traps. Heading to a 1/4 mile track next weekend, based on my 1/8th mile times/traps I should be in the 11.6-11.8 range at 116-119.

That mph advantage the 6 speed has is offset by the 60' the autos have. It should even out but somehow it doesn't. Last night I ran an 11.61 @ 120.4mph, but with only a 1.71 60', it kept me from running a time that matches the mph. I've seen a4s run in the high 10s at 120 mph

Put that bitch on a diet and press the gas pedal harder Honestly, I'm pretty surprised you haven't gotten this thing deep into the 11's with all of your mods. The suspension might be some of the issue, but your 60' times really aren't that bad. I wonder if the converter isn't part of the problem. Did you try bringing it up to around 2K to launch? You're not going to blow those ET Streets away at Byron, its always prepped well. Hell, I couldn't spin my street tires out of the hole.

I just ran a 11.34@122 w/1.56 60' - still has more in the 60', but it's getting there.
