Looked solid for being on big wheels and not much weight out of it.

Scotty you have mph to hit 11's. Just need some traction. cut that 1.9 down to a sub 1.6 and I bet it'll go 11's.
2 ways to run the number. You either do it by mph (easy way out IMO) or do it with traction. 116 traps is easliy a 11.7 or 11.8. Get all the weight you can out of it and put a sticky tire on it. If it breaks it needed to be replaced anyways!

Figured I post in here one last time seeing the car is sold now.
I never ended up running 11s. Best was a 12.3 with a 1.8 60ft. I learned alot from the experience and hearing everyone's feedback was great. Here's why I think I couldn’t achieve it.
1. Car was over cam'ed.
2. Ls7 clutch
3. Heavy wheels
4. 10 Bolt
Can’t wait to get into a C5Z next year. I have already planned out my next build and have almost 90% of the parts purchased lol.

I got 11s with a mild cam/bolt-on/converter and heavy *** s60 along with some minor weight rediction. Best time so far was 11.7/115, but there's more left in the car. If I air down the Hoosiers I use, add an ssra/chris1313 and raise my shift points I think I can get into the 11.4-11.5 range.

Damn dude. He doesn't know a every aspect of your situation. He gave advise as t what it looked like may be some areas you could look at. A lot of the guys that live in the SRK section talk a ton of **** on one another including Guitar. You got on here looking for advise. If you want to defend your tuner that's cool but try it in a more subtle way. He was jus trying to help you. Good luck on your venture for 11's. It really isn't all that hard but there are a thoushamd ways to get there. Keep us posted when you get there.
03 c5 vette 450hp, stock bottom end stock heads, stock cam, arps on a stock block yes i know i did it, tuned long tubes, ls6intake, bigger maf, ramair, catch can, borla exaust, stage2 clutch, tick adj slave cylinder, clutch, stock rear end gears, 18's front went to fattest 19s in the rear i could hold without a tub, 150 shot, and dyno tune.
11.7@ 115 no nos on toyo proxies, waiting for slicks to use the squirt at the drag =) build was to prove to fools u dont gotta cam and stroke and bore **** to hell or use 4.10s to have a fast car ya know.

The easiest way I ran 11s and I have done it in 4 different cars with mild setups is this way.
1990lx coupe.original 5.0 with 114k miles.
Weight reduction,ud crank pulley, explorer intake manifold, hollowed cats, flow masters,3.73s,lakewoods,upper lower control arms,nx 100shot,slicks and that's it.went 11.4@117
Basically just buy a fox coupe, lose weight buy slicks and spray it and it will go 11s.its that simple and cheap

Never really had a decent tire when I was just bolt ons and would go mid 12's with 2.xx 60ft's. Threw a set of bias plyes on the back and a cam shaft in at the same and got down to a 11.3x's at 124. I have added a 150shot plate kit and swapping to a th400. I hope the changes lower that ET just a hair.
