im going to atco tuesday night to test out my 100 wet shot that ive just added. my best time before was a 12.2 @ 114.72 with a crappy 1.98 60'
since then, 4th gear is giving me a problem, its grinding bad when going in, so now i double clutch it, and it goes in with no noise... but i cant shift as fast as i normally would into it. so thats gonna cost me a few tenths.
what do yall think i will run? im gonna spray in 2nd gear on, trying not to spray out of the hole, since i have bald DRs.
i calculated the DA, it comes out to +962 in the afternoon (5pm-530pm)
around 7-730pm itll cool down a tiny bit and looks like itll be +841 DA
then around 9-930, a few more degrees cooler and what looks to be a +531 DA
iom preetty sure im right, i used a online DA calculator

only got 2 runs tonight it was super busy and people kept breaking stuff
as some of you may know, the syncrhos were going bad in my trans, so 2-3 shift grinded some and 3-4 was bad, but as long as i double clutched the 3-4 itd go in without noise, but wound up costing me some tenths, i would say in the neighborhood of like 2-3.
on my horribly bald et street radials, as in i started to see cord.. i cut a 1.8 60' and ran a 11.83 @ 118.32
first run of night- bottle pressure approx 975psi
sprayed in 1st-4th juice kicked in right after the 60' (what an awesome feeling that 100 wet shot is!!)

my second run, i launched at 5k and cut a 1.72 60' and was on my way to a faster time, but i forgot to double clutch it into 4th and it killed my time...

mph 94.24 ---> right after here, is where i forgot to dbl clutch to go in 4th
1000' 10.01 that = not going into 4th right away and me shouting expletives repeatedly...

thanx! once i get my trans fixed and i can get a nice cooler than 80 degrees day to run again i should be shooting for 11.5 or faster. probably wont be for a while tho, its getting hot here in nj
