I finally had a chance to take the car out, hot lapped a few times (ran low 13's) and let it cool. I'm in south florida so heat and humidity( 85 degrees) are always a problem. On to the fun stuff, the car is a 01' SS with bbk longtubes, custom cam, tfs 215s and 555r's ( 3.42 10bolt and m6). I was launching the car soft with the fear of the glass 10 bolt but here are the numbers.

60'. 2.083
330'. 5.609
1/8. 8.412 @ 87.77
1000'. 10.780
1/4 12.789 @ 112.60

any thoughts suggestion are appreciated, thanks.

No doubt in my mind you have a 11 sec car. What was your launch rpm?

I launched the car at about 2800 rpm, I didn't really get into until I was out 60' or so...

gonna try to slip the clutch longer next time out and see if it improves....

You should probably be trapping a bit higher than that with heads + cam, but helping out your 60' will improve both time and trap. First time out?

60ft needs help. But limited with the 10 bolt. I would rev it higher at 4500 to 5500 and slip that clutch out.
