better setup for better times
Hey guys! I have a stock 2.73 gear with a stock converter. I currently have a best 2.197 60' on street tires. I am going to put drag slicks on it but I am not sure to go with a 3.23 gear or 3.42. I drive it every day to work and I would love to keep a little gas mileage. what cha guys think? I am looking at putting nitrous and spraying out of the whole or in mid powerband. i have a set of heads but i wanna know about 60' becuase heads dont have an integral role necessarily in 60'. lemme know

my untuned 00 a4 with a lid, headers, 4k stall, and 373s (untuned engine) got 23 mpg on the highway with a total weight over 4k and running 80 mph (2,800) rpm.
go 373s...you can still get decent mileage. the difference between 273 and 373 is amazing, my car is a factory 273 car.
