question for ya...12's? just wanted to get your guys opinion on if i can manage getting in the 12's with my setup as the car sits.Heres the setup on my 98 TA:
383 w/ T76 turbo kit will make >500rwhp when done
T56 with Spec stage 5 clutch/short stick
rear girdle stock 10 bolt
heres the catch...will be running on 245/40/18 street tires
i know the first time out the car will trap ~120 but im concerned about traction the whole way down the track.got a buddy that says no way in hell itll go 12's because of traction and another buddy who says it better so wanted to get an idea from the experienced as i dont drag race much at all.If it counts for anything im not perfect at launching a car but i can grab gears with the best of them.so what do u think?
