12.60s at near 111mph with a 155K mile STOCK internal LS1
A good friend of mine raced my 99 Camaro Z28 at KCIR in Kansas City yesterday....the temps were around 60 degrees I believe, and the car has the following mods:
SLP lid
K&N filter
ported TB
de-screened MAF
ASP underdrive pulley
LS6 intake
FLP headers & off-road Y-pipe/Hooker cat-back
3.73 gears
M/T Drag Radials
That's it....here's what he ran in it:
1st pass- 2:05PM
60ft.- 1.954
1/8th- 8.218
1/4- 12.699
MPH- 110.88
2nd pass-4:09PM
60ft.- 1.898
1/8th- 8.144
1/4- 12.629
MPH- 110.63
3rd pass- 4:45PM
60ft.- 1.931
1/8th- 8.142
1/4- 12.621
MPH- 110.89
Not too shabby for a 155K mile LS1, huh? Needless to say I am SO happy with this car and the way it runs for what little I've done to it....and I CANNOT WAIT to get the tranny rebuilt and get a 3500 stall converter for it. 12.TEENS, here I come....
