Default First ever run hit 12.93

First time running at the track hit 12.933@108.08 2.004 60ft. only spun a little but i was on street tires. Didnt launch at all, just mashed the pedal off the line. Not sure how to launch an auto.

I got a couple things I wanna get straight on the car first, but im thinking underdrive pullys and a stall are coming next.

the poor tiburon next to me ran 15.021

Nice! Was that at MIR today? There's a good size group going tomorrow morning.

Yeah it was. Pretty good turnout by noon I would say. A group of about 7 of us rolled up at opening and it turned out I was the only one to break into 12's. Made me happy cause alot of trash talking went on before hand

My friends srt4 lined up vs an srt8 for the first race of the season, but he blew either his cluth or trans up.

Congrats on your time. Welcome to the 12s. Get that stall as soon as you can, before the good weather goes away, and watch that et drop by over a half second.

I can vouch for this. I went from a 13.3 to a 12.7 with my Yank SS3600 converter and I love it. I ran the 12.7 at MIR on sunday and I did the converter install on friday and saturday.

congrats man. and dont waste your time on an underdrive pulley most people only gain 5 or so horsepower from it it is considered the last mod to do. Save they $230 or so for gears and a stall. To launch an auto you hold your foot on the break and the gas untill the converter starts to lock up then release the break and mash the gas. the factory converter should start to lock aroung 1800 or so.
