9's at 140+ through stock LS1 TB/2.73 rear 10bolt :)
I thought i'd share this here since i'm running some 4th gen parts on my 3rd gen. Shows you can go pretty quick on stock stuff.
Ran my twin turbo 401 small block 89 Iroc-Z today on 12, 13, and 14 psi boost.
Motor uses a victor EFI manifold with intakeelbows.com 90 degree elbow and stock LS1 throttle body. Nothing else really special, strong bottom end, Dart SHP block, AFR 195 heads, Mike Jones custom cam, etc
Rear end is a bone stock 10 bolt from some 99+ car with zexel torsen diff 2.73 gears. No girdle or anything. Previous 10 bolt finally broke a spider/worm gear tooth and it was making some noise and slipping on gears, chewing up other teeth alittle so I dumped it. Needed a quick spare for racing today so i put in the other 10 bolt late last night.
Car should go 9's with abit more tuning and harder launch. 93 octane gas no meth, etc.

That's 1BADTURBO, in a mild mannered sort of way!
Congrats!
9's ?...
won't take but another trip out to the strip....
:
Then went to MIR sunday and went 9.86, and 9.73 at 142 mph. Last run i mixed in some race gas, cranked the boost up to what I was hoping to see 17-18psi and went 1.49 60 foot but blew a vacuum line off the intake on 1-2 shift and power dropped out. Says i hit 16.6psi on the log but car didnt run like it i guess. Still ran 9.73 but it wasnt liking the street tune with the 110/93 octane mix. Car was richer and just didnt feel as strong as I expected it would be but that leak must have caused that. Would have been a 9.5 pass i think at near 145 mph I bet
